Who We Are

HGBIC Productions was founded in 2020, beginning as a home for original podcast dramas and weekly audio programming. While storytelling through sound was our first chapter, our passion for live theatre never faded.

In 2024, we took our first step onto the stage with our debut production, Happy Birthday, Mr. President, at The Newport Theater. The following summer, we continued our artistic journey with Josephine, an original production celebrating the extraordinary life and legacy of Josephine Baker. This past winter, we made our official Chicago theatre debut with The Greatest Night in Show Business: A Night in the Life of Judy Garland, marking an exciting new era for our company. Today, HGBIC Productions is proud to call The Greenhouse Theatre Center our artistic home as a resident theatre company.
